We believe music is for everyone. As humans and musicians, we all experience music differently which is why we train our teachers to be creative and inclusive, to meet the diverse needs of every student.
We Offer Lessons for All Ages
Piano Lessons
Taber Music School is proud to offer one on one and group piano lessons. We teach all styles of music from classical to pop, jazz, contemporary and also RCM examinations. Piano lessons begin as early as age 4.
Guitar and Bass
Learn how to play the guitar, ukulele and/or bass with one of our incredibly talented teachers. We strive to provide a supportive learning environment for all ages and all levels of experience.
String Instruments
Our string teachers are use a variety of methods and styles to teach engaging lessons in violin, viola and cello. Lessons can include everything from Suzuki, to Royal Conservatory, folk, fiddle, classical, contemporary, pop, and everything in between.
Voice Lessons
Voice lessons offer personalized instruction to enhance vocal technique, develop performance skills, and have fun! Many styles of voice can be learned at Taber including pop, jazz, musical theatre, and classical.
I give Taber Music School 2 Thumbs Up. My daughter has been attending since September with her best friend and they love their teacher who manages to make piano lessons fun. A challenging feat when it comes to 12 year olds!! She is inspired to play her own songs like the theme from The Greatest Showman!!

We're Christopher and Christine Taber, the founders of Taber Music School. It's our absolute pleasure to welcome you to our community music school. With a love for music and mentoring, Taber Music School started with piano and violin lessons out of our home.
We've always believed that it's not about teaching every student the same way we learned but learning how each student thrives differently.
